I’ve been called gorgeous repeatedly throughout my life. Believe me it doesn’t help with men. It just means lots of jerks hit on me. Store clerks are nicer and strangers smile more. No one takes me seriously at work, except for other attractive women. The worst part is knowing how fleeting and superficial it is, but at the same time, I like being attractive. I identify with all of them he above but being 45 now I am grateful that my self esteem isn’t based on my more or less slowly diminishing looks. We have to make sure young women have more to them than looks, and it’s often very easy for them to get lost in all the attention they get for just being beautiful.[/quote]
