Are you using Niche? Because IF Niche is your compass, Madeira is ranked #3 in the DC area. Stone Ridge is ranked somewhere down in the 20s or 30s. Honestly I got tired of scrolling down to find it. [/quote]

Have you ever visited Madeira?  Campus alone it is leaps and bounds better than GDS, Holton and Potomac.  NCS/St. Albans have the Cathedral, which is second to none.  However, Madeira's 350+ acres on the Potomac are also quite special.  [/quote]
I am not talking about campus.  I am talking about academics.
No one in their right mind would say that Madeira has better academics than the schools listed.  No one![/quote]

Madeira has wonderful academics and has historically attracted smart girls.  There is also more to school than academics alone.  A student can be at the "best" school but if they are not happy, they will not succeed.

Ultimately, GDS, NCS, St. Albans, etc. aren't in consideration.  The question was to compare Stone Ridge with Madeira.  Both have Pros and Cons.  [/quote]
