You have to wait for your kid to perform a 2-3 minute piece, in between watching 100 other kids performing their pieces - which you could not care less about. [/quote] I’ve had kids in XC, track, gymnastics, swimming, and dancing. Dancing is the best - especially when the competition is week organized because then the “show” is near constant. Lots of downtime between heats, can’t see kid (love the comment about baggage claim), etc.[/quote]
