Nah. I don’t believe so. As evidence of that, I point to people in traffic. There are drivers who *every day* think nothing of cutting people off, cutting in line in front of other drivers, tailgating, driving extremely aggressively and being a complete dick behind the wheel, and nothing ever happens to them. And that’s just driving…. There is no real Karma in the sense of the universe keeping score and punishing bad people. I used to think there was, but I’ve seen enough now to know otherwise. There is only sociopathy and nonsociopaths. The only real Karma is that which you dispense your self. If you don’t do it, it won’t happen.
I disagree with the bolded. I was once driving and a young guy in a sports car was tailgating me because he thought I was driving too slow. We were on a two lane windy road and it was raining heavily (hence my slow driving). Anyway, the road then opened up into a 4 lane road and he passed my car and sped off ahead of me. He immediately lost control of his vehicle (it looked like he hydroplaned) and crashed into a side wall.
And did you pull over and go to his car and punch him in the face while he sat there in the seat, dazed and stunned from the crash? Because THAT would be administering karma. Otherwise he just thinks he “got in a wreck because he was stuck behind a slow driver”.
