I’m a 50 yr old white guy, live in Chevy Chase Village, drive an older, expensive car in pristine condition, drive very sedately, and I’ve been pulled over twice in the last year for window tint despite my Florida tags (where the car is titled and tagged) ..

And yes, I’m former .mil  MacDill AFB was my final positing before I retired, and our kids love Florida, so we stayed.

No, it’s definitely the window tint. They told me so when they stopped me. Showed them the certificate sticker on the door frame  for being legal in Florida, the car is registered and insured in FL, and I’m a FL resident. But we own a house here in MD too. We’re just not MD residents.

It’s not dark enough to not be able to see the driver or inside the car. And Chevy Chase Village doesn’t have a police force. You’re thinking the town of Chevy Chase. Chevy Chase Village is farther up Connecticut Ave, on the west side, past Saul Rd, across from Kensington. [/quote]
