Just put all schools in the same classification and play. Will never happen, but would be awesome. I would say the "gaps" depend on the years. For example in 2016, Dominion (4A) was dominate. Probably the best team in the state at any level. 2019 Briar Woods (5A) was probably the best in the State that year. Yorktown in 2021 (6A) undefeated and above everyone else. Riverside in 2022 (5A) destroyed everyone that year, and beat Gonzaga, I don't think they would had lost to any public that year. Always a cool conversation to have at the end of each season.
