This WHOLE thing started when Maria said someone else isn't "old" and that she herself would be considered "old" under the other person's definition of "old." Which is all just to say that THERE NEVER WAS ANYTHING WRONG with what Maria initially said. Sydney was the nutball who made it into something "disrespectful."
