DC has a friend who was accepted ED with a Jan 15 acceptance deadline. However, the school was not honoring their GI Bill in a manner they agreed with. Parents have to go through all of the steps to request a reevaluation, then board. It has taken weeks. The acceptance date keeps getting pushed back by the financial aid office. The last I heard, Feb 15 is the new date. Their DC didn't pull EA apps (and is concerned because they didn't do any RD). This is all within the "rights" of the ED agreement. OP, maybe the student is scamming the system, but maybe they are going through the process in the proper way and you have no idea.[/quote]
