Agreed.  We should find the person the world who has it the worst.  That’s the only person we’re allowed to have sympathy for since everyone has it better.  There’s a limited amount of empathy we can have; need to conserve it for the truly needy.[/quote]

Different poster here, and I hear what you're saying, but I still side with the PP. The amount of sadness from people over their kids not getting into Michigan or Wisconsin, when they have other, enviable options--and the kids are perfectly fine--is just emblematic of why our children are so messed up. People, please, cry over something worthy of tears here. Instead, celebrate your children's accomplishments and tell them how proud and happy you are. This is ridiculous.[/quote]
