I mean, if they were big ones you could get away with serving a lesser number than if they were smaller.  If the florets were of the larger variety, did you consider halving them which might cosmetically serve to enhance the amount of florets actually being served? Did you serve organic broccoli? Because that would add into the cost factor and therefore the portion consideration. How did you prepare said broccoli-steamed, baked, broiled? Because if they were pureed that throws a whole new wrinkle into portion estimates. Personally, I would find it very difficult to count florets with this particular method of preparation.
