I don't know how Mitt could win. Out of touch. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Of course, Dubya was the same way, inarticulate and didn't seem very intelligent. I guess anything is possible in America.
Are you a fan of the Kennedy family politicians? Do you include them in these types of statements? Re "Dubya," he graduated from Yale, one of the exalted Ivys. Or do you think Yale accepts poorly qualified students and then just hands out degrees to those who "don't seem very intelligent?"
I think that there is no rule that says I have to like every graduate of an Ivy League school. And yes, Yale admits a lot of legacies. So no, a degree from Yale does not guarantee intelligence, especially when your grades look like this: http://2004.georgewbush.org/bios/yale-transcript.asp Ouch!!!
I get it; it's just that many posters on this forum act as if getting into/graduating from an Ivy indicates a high level of intelligence. Not necessarily, although by no means do I think George Bush is stupid. I bet that if he were tested, his nonverbal/math skills are higher than verbal. Not an attorney type.
