If the price were the same, broaden the horizon. Include Rice, WashU, NYU, Vandy, Duke, NU, U of ND...  For the same price, why not choose a school a whole notch above USC in a safer surroundings? [/quote]

Duke is definitely a level up overall.

Also for those who are interested in CS and AI, USC is investing 1 BILLiON in an advanced computing initiative. New building opens Fall 2024, 30 new Faculty in the next 3 years. UCLA and the other cash strapped UC schools just won’t be able to compete long term.
