Op, my good friend had 3 kids graduate from USC and they all had a great experience. He's wealthy, but didn't grow up with money so raised his kids to work for the things they wanted (though he paid for their college expenses so they all graduated debt free - they had to get jobs for pizza/beer/Spring Break/concerts $). The oldest was hired by Google after graduation, the second kid went to some kind of tech/education related start up and the youngest went into the film industry. They all used USC contacts to get their jobs and it sounds like the alumni base was helpful and generous with their time/advice. They're from the Midwest, but loved the California weather and vibe so all remained in the state. [/quote]
