[/quote] The parents don’t view it as a failure to launch, even though it is and they should have gotten the child help over the years (a dx, appropriate therapies, tutors, discipline, a different school or environment, goal setting, executive functioning help, etc.). Perhaps they ALL have a big victim mentality. Thus don’t bother trying hard. [/quote]
