Two thirds of Americans are overweight or obese. They can't discern any more what's a healthy weight, since nowadays healthy is not what you normally see! Norm does not equal health. So then they look at a healthy person, and freak out that they're too thin. It becomes a vicious circle, because people will more easily slide into the overweight category, thinking that overweight is healthy because it's the norm. Mind-boggling. Nicole Kidman has a BMI in the range of normal. Do you?
I 'know' she has a healthy BMI because I've performed hundreds of caliper tests on women and men over the years and I know what healthy looks like and doesn't. Nicole Kidman's BMI isn't unhealthy; however the people posting here to say she is are, possibly, suffering some mental disorder. It says her weight is 105. Her height is 5’11 according to at least a few posters here. That is a BMI of 14.6, which is nowhere near normal. Idiot.
NP. There is no way that her weight is 105 lbs, this is someone as clueless as you estimating her weight. She's about 120-125 lbs and that's the lowest someone of her height can go without being hospitalized.
Oh i see. You are just saying you “know” her BMI is healthy based on nothing at all. I’m at least basing my opinion on what is actually written. Shouldn’t you be researching doctors for your osteoporosis? I guarantee you if you don’t yet have it, you will.

I 'know' she has a healthy BMI because I've performed hundreds of caliper tests on women and men over the years and I know what healthy looks like and doesn't. If she’s indeed 120 pounds that’s a 16.7 BMI. And if she 125 it’s 17.4. BOTH are underweight.
I'm sure she is underweight. But you can be a little BMI range -- or a little over BMI range! -- and still be healthy. She looks to me to be underweight and healthy. She probably does have a pretty restricted, but healthy diet (no way a post-menopausal woman keeps that stomach and still eats carbs/dairy/sugar, sadly) -- it might be for health reasons, or for personal preference, or because of industry pressure, we can't really know. I used to be chronically under BMI, just because of my metabolism and genetics. I'm now a little over BMI because of menopause. But my diet and exercise and general health are still pretty much identical to what it was when I was "underweight." Also, the BMI scale is pretty off for people that are unusually tall or short. And people have all different sorts of bodies, and clearly hers never was, and never will be, "average" in any sort of way.
