If they didn't, they would get a couple nice presents, but I give them a huge random pile of perishables so they can rip open all the gifts like greedy toddlers, and at least I'm not adding so much plastic to the landfill. It's why I also give them socks and candles, because if they don't use them, at least someone else will.
