My son attended 3rd grade in SC. Let’s just say that the textbook chapters about the civil war were incomplete.  We had to supplement heavily that year.

There are TX and SC versions of history textbooks. TX tends to drive more content because it is a bigger market. We didn’t have textbooks in Fairfax to compare against.[/quote]
