Why? 30 percent makes sense to me. It is generous. I say this as a woman.

I also don’t understand why people assume that OP would not have made that much money without the contributions of his SAHM wife.  Some people are capable of managing multiple things in life.

NP. I hope he gets cleaned out because he is a jerk. And there is nothing generous about getting 20% less than the contract provided for.
