My kid got in a couple of years ago with 118 NNAT and high 120s on CogAt (not in pool - I referred). They’ve been doing great. You really never know. Just do everything you can do and then put it out of your mind.

My kids was in his backpack. Cogat is a 137, but he was sick the day of the Nagleri and it is only a 111. Pretty sure he’s not getting in because his teacher doesn’t “get” him and seems annoyed by him.
We had the opposite, my kid was sick during the CogAt and got a 118 but his NNAT was higher, 130. We’ll see what happens. I won’t get my hopes up. He does seem to be fairly well liked by the teachers and our ES and pyramid are not one of the most competitive ones.

This is PP. I’m honestly on the fence of if he NEEDS full time AAP. He’s on, I would say, high grade level or maybe 1 grade ahead in reading, but struggles to express himself in writing. But overall on/a little around grade level there and not bored. But the math situation at his school is not good. I don’t know if it’s like this everywhere but his current math work appears to be “putting 3 digit numbers in order from smallest to largest” and vice versa. He’s desperate for more advanced work, and his teacher already has him doing more and slightly more advanced work during class but it’s still pretty basic. And I don’t want to start too much with him at home because then he’ll be really, REALLY far ahead in just a short period of time. I attempted to convey all this in his referral forms and I’m sure his teacher also will mention it, so we will see how it turns out.
