I don't even know what this means.  There's a lid. If you never open it, it's either open all the time, or you're peeing all over it.  It's meant to be used.  It keeps particles from flying into the air and provides a seat when needed (like if kids in tub, or waiting turn at the sink).  Do your guests a favor, put it down when you're done and train your family members to do the same.[/quote]
