Listen to the gunshots in the Las Vegas video and realize that the Supreme Court is currently hearing the appeal to make bump stocks legal again.
Ugh. I can’t anymore. Why can’t we be like Australia or Switzerland with this? Any and all of these lawmakers and judges should be put in a lockdown with their families and feel what it’s like to be hunted with weapons you don’t stand a chance. They need to experience that terror and grief. It’s unbelievable how they lack all empathy and sense.
You may certainly denounce your citizenship at any time, and leave.
Leave, because you say our American citizenship stands for “insanity till the end”? Our Founding Fathers could not fathom what we have come to.
LOL You don't know what our founders were like. They lived a tough life and didn't have a lot of patience for nonsense. Lemme give you a clue: No work, no eat.
DP. Did you even look at the images? Do you have children?
Yes, I looked at them. We do not have children. I also served in Desert Shield, so I have seen a shit ton more than you, unless you have served in combat. I know you're going to quiz me now. What would you like to know?
How to avoid broken, psychotic people like you.
Why do you wear your heart on your sleeve? Is it a comfort thing for you?
I'm the PP who asked if you have kids. I have multiple close family members that are combat veterans and have also "seen shit", and they aren't nearly as heartless as you. I grew up around guns and was taught firearm safety from a ridiculously young age. So, no, I don't need an education from you. You understand the absolute sea of blood in that classroom in Uvalde came from the bodies of 9-year-olds who were hiding under a table while dozens of "good guys with guns" stood around outside and listened to their screams and desperate pleas for help, right?? Because they were all too afraid of an 18 year old deranged guy with a single AR-15. Maybe it is because I have children the same age as those who were killed and traumatized in Newtown and Uvalde, but I just can't imagine being so flippant about this. Especially if you are a combat veteran who should know exactly what these types of firearms do to an adult body. Now, imagine what they would do to a small child.
I don't have to imagine. It happened. I get that. You may think I don't, but I do. I also understand that EVERY SHOOTER IS THEIR OWN ACTOR. I don't transfer guilt like you do. Do you get it? * BTW, I just wondering if this post will get deleted like so many others. Whoever is deleting, do you REALLY think you are changing minds by constantly GAR-DEN-ING opinion ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Yes, I get that every shooter is their own actor and responsible for their actions. Of course, but why should it be so incredibly easy to own something like this in the first place? Why should an 18yo be able to legally purchase an AR-15? Can't be trusted to legally drink a beer, but can be trusted with a weapon of mass murder. And before you give me the line that we send 18yos into combat with high-powered weaponry, let me remind you that they go through training beforehand. I had an abusive boyfriend in college and ended up needing to get a restraining order, yet nothing was done when he went out and purchased a handgun and started making threats. Why is the NRA so against red flag laws? Better background checks?
