I feel like this is when, if you aren’t gaining weight and heavier than in your 20s (and pre kids), the natural decrease in facial fat and subcutaneous fat becomes more obvious- especially if you had even a mild lose of weight like 5-10 lbs. I agree.  I've always been slim, but dropped maybe 7 lbs after I was done nursing my youngest (age 38 at the time).  I look quite thin, but I am healthy, eat well, and don't restrict my diet in any way.   I've maintained this weight even now through age 50.  Some people are just naturally thin.[/quote]

Same here. I looked at some photos from a few years ago and my face shape is very different despite being the same weight on the scale. Sigh aging. [/quote]
