Generally, you either learn to love pie as your tastebuds change or you grew up with it 60 years ago. Both tend to an older population.[/quote] Pie can be awkward for kids to eat. They have to handle a fork and filling that slides out of crust. We made peach hand pies at camp one summer and every single kid ate them. ES even ask that cupcakes be served rather than cake.
