Now that criminals have realized the cops are no longer interested in policing (because of you, if that’s not already clear) and they’re running rampant, NOW suddenly you want cops to be cops again? Yeah, no. File an insurance claim. 90% of DC residents voted for the political infrastructure that created this mess. Now you can suffer. You made your beds. Now sleep in them.

Interesting, I enjoyed Heinlein as a kid, but it's been a while since I've read him. Starship Troopers? Stranger in a Strange Land? To associate with a Heinlein isn't quite as scary as you are trying to make yourself sound, though I'm sure people are fainting over their morning coffees  :wink:  Can you say more about your Heinleinian fascism?  FWIW, I'm a DC native and we are working on ranked voting. It is very difficult to not vote in the 'types' we have on the Council with our current voting process. I and many others have tried valiantly, but it's as if we don;t have a vote. We have had some real stinkers in leadership for sure, though Tony Wiliams was a bright light. Loved him then, love him now. Best thing that every happened to our city, and we need Tony 2.0.[/quote]
