Anytime a public servant has to make a day-after statement, it's a clear sign that their initial statement was a stupid one. Parker clearly learned that expressing more sympathy for perpetrators of violence than for their victims is no longer going to cut it. I hope other CMs -- particularly Charles Allen, who has no problem throwing around the "experiencing a crisis" line to explain away crime -- are paying attention.[/quote]
