I will remind you that back when that prediction was made, gas did hit over $7/gal in locations around the US.  You have a very short memory.

Republicans and Trump also wanted to top off the SPR back when oil was $20/barrel, but Democrats wouldn't allow it because they said it was a "bail out for Big Oil."  What losers the Democrats are.  And, we all lose as a result.  [/quote]

I'm pulling up Gas Buddy, and the closest I can find is California $6, for two weeks in the last two years, and that's with their very high taxes AND a series of refineries there going offline at the same time.

So no, your memory is not quite right. The prediction was wrong, just wrong.[/quote]
