How does one apply to become an equity officer? Is there a job description somewhere? At $232k, it appears the position pays more than what a teacher can ever make with a PhD https://govsalaries.com/king-nardos-e-143711008 The max an fcps teacher with Phd can ever earn is $135k https://www.fcps.edu/sites/default/files/media/pdf/FY23-teacher-260-day.pdf
Every time a mom's for liberty troll make a post, a person in FX registers as a Democrat. These posts don't do what they're intended to do.
Every time I see "moms of liberty," which I had never heard of btw before this forum, I think of how progressive Democrats want to shut down conversation, the goal is sell-censorship, a fear of being labeled any of the many things that could get you cancelled. So, call someone MAGA or moms of liberty, the worst of the worst. Instead of posting what you posted, why don't you actually question the person about what they posted: The issue the person raised is an equity officer can make more than a teacher with a PhD can ever make and implied is the idea of what this say about what we value, a highly-skilled teacher vs an equity officer.
Funny. Every time I think of Moms for Liberty (and professing ignorance about the notorious group is not the flex you think if you are genuinely interested in developments in public school education), I think of how they literally quoted Adolph Hitler in their materials. But, I know, I know, you think with live in a colorblind society and are tired of all this race talk already. https://www.wfyi.org/news/articles/indiana-chapter-of-moms-for-liberty-features-hitler-quote-in-first-newsletter
It wasn’t aspirational. It was intended as cautionary. As a rule of thumb, bringing up Hitler unless you’re talking about an actual genocide is stupid. But it’s also nuts how some Democrats will trot this out to try and suggest these moms were holding Hitler out as a role model.
