" [/quote] DP. The MIL isn't bringing a dog. MIL wants to bring a puppy. Why do you not get that distinction? Puppy = more excitable, less trained/untrained, more likely to get into everything, more attractive as an attention magnet for the MANY kids present. If you're such an animal lover, you should find this idea nuts--for the poor puppy.[/quote]
