What led to the increase in applications is that it became so difficult to get into the Ivies, Dukes and Vandys of the world, and that isn’t changing anytime soon. Many students want midsize schools (5000 to 10000) and there isn’t that many of them. And nearly all of them outside the T15 fell in the rankings.[/quote]
