I'm 59 and I haven't "fallen apart" yet. I'm stronger and leaner than I was in my 30s, when I didn't pay as much attention to diet and exercise. "Falling apart" - getting weaker, fatter, more frail - is mostly a choice.
Good for you? For many of us, the falling apart refers to sudden onset of diseases such as autoimmune and others that have nothing to do with diet and exercise.
Dp. 53. In the past 5 years, I've had to get 2 dental implants, I have a bad back and I have a huge fibroid, but I am similar to the first pp. I hope I'm rocking it at 59. I have a lot of wear and tear, but I strengthen the weak parts and remove/replace what's damaged. I looked damn good for being so jacked up and I know I can recover and feel better.
