This. In US and Western World they keep count and you have to pay back. Back in a day, we didn't because we were all poor and taking someone's money or giving someone money, didn't make a difference. We all still stayed poor. I have lived in both worlds and see how they both makes sense in their respective worlds.[/quote]

Probably a new thread. If my friends and I treat each other, I do the right thing and participate.

But I hate this. Let’s split the bill every time. I do keep mental track and if I slack it bugs me, and if they slack it bugs me. It’s *not hard at all* to split in some shape or form. Even the hardest split I’ve ever been a part of was do-able (NYC cash only huge huge huge group, bunch of people who didn’t really know each other—but we managed it!)[/quote]
