Going into 7th as a teen is really old, esp a girl. Probably held back [/quote] This is wrong. The kids born in the fall, which is going to school on time in the DMV, will be 13 part way through 7th, 14 part way through 8th, and 15 part way through 9th. A 13 year old 9th grader could be 13 briefly with a September 30 cut off. But would be one of the youngest kids in the class.[/quote]
