If I were hiring a young person and they told me they went to Ole Miss from out of state, I would wonder why. If that same person went to a low-ranked school without a racist history, I would just assume it was the best school they could get into to (and no shade to that — if they did well there and made the best of it, I’d be impressed). I would not be impressed by someone CHOOSING to go to Ole Miss if it’s not their in state school.[/quote]
