Do you write thank you notes for major gifts  or at least say thank you?

Why should OP continue to give gifts if it’s not clear the receiver appreciates them? She is not rude if she decides not to give any more gifts, which is how I interpret her post. She’s done giving to someone who doesn’t seem to care about getting and that is how it should be. [/quote]
