They’ve moved but; Mom and dad, two kids. He was some sort of financial planner (WFH) and she was a lawyer. Would have garage sales so often that HOA had to tell them to stop. Unsold merchandise would pile up in their garage. Invited neighborhood live in nanny to come over and look at clothes to “send back to her grandchildren” (presumably unsold garage sale items) and then when nanny selected a few items, the mom assessed a ridiculous charge. Nanny walked away. The Mom decided to begin to deliver another neighbor’s mail - retrieved from the mailbox, walked up and handed it over. Had to be told to stop doing this. They’d throw an open house at the holidays; no self serve alcohol. The dad would stand behind a built in bar and take orders, then you’d get a beer poured into a small plastic cup or maybe a watered down mixed drink. They wanted to establish a barter system for babysitting, errand running, tool borrowing so that no money would need be exchanged but we all figured out that it was one sided and they’d never return the favor. Invited their former handyman and his DC to move in with them. This arrangement didn’t last very long and the handyman abandoned his truck on our neighborhood street for months until it was towed. They hired a law service to blow mass amount of yard debris, mostly leaves from their yard to the curb. Great except our trash company doesn’t collect loose debris. The leaves sat there in an enormous pile taking up two parking spaces. Eventually, after several weeks the leaves blew away and scattered enough that the family parked atop the flattened pile of rotting yard
Wow these people are weird
