My biological parents never married each other, but I am the only child from their relationship(which was at young age, another reason why I feel unwanted). I feel like my dad did not want to be a parent, but my mom decided to go through with the pregnancy. [/quote]

You can’t change the way he/the rest of his new family feel about you. It doesn’t matter that things should be different, the fact is that they are not. It doesn’t seem you are a part of that family.

You have every right to be sad and angry, but you have to work on accepting things as they are so you can be as much at peace with your life as possible. Please find a therapist to help you. [/quote]
