Republicans saying the quiet part out loud, they want a dictatorship. [twitter]https://twitter.com/JesseKellyDC/status/1660760624752738304[/twitter]
[insert Roy Kent gif with a forbidden word] I have to say, there's a lot I hate about Republicans - and their scary, apocalyptic "promises" about what's coming is up there at the top of what I hate most. But it's a big top. Very top-heavy.
Isn't it the Democrats who have been talking about their apocalyptic "promises" concerning climate change? Al Gore said many of the world's coastal cities would be inundated by sea level rise by 2023. Of course, he said that while owing a Tennessee mansion with three people living in it that consumed more power than a small town. Liberal hypocrite.
The rapidly approaching climate apocalypse from massive sea-level rises means the Obamas would never, ever, do something like buy beach front property in Hawaii . . . oh wait. They did.
Anyone with a brain knows climate change flooding isn't coming quickly (unless you are in Norfolk, Charleston or parts of Florida). It's a long process. Rich people (or newly rich people) are going to do rich things, unfortunately. As a moderate progressive who used to live in a deep red state, I would vote blue but not ever talk about politics with anyone. It literally wasn't safe, and this was before the wackadoodles were really riled up in 2015+.
I see why you moved to the DC area. You can be with like minded people who don’t challenge. Of course, I don’t think conservatives feel very safe in blue states. So many examples of liberals attacking conservatives they don’t agree with. Summer of BLM riots, anti-FA riots, violent liberal protests at colleges when conservatives speak, Riley Gaines being attacked at SFSU because she doesn’t want to swim against biological males, and the list goes on and on on.
THIS ^^. We see it all the time - liberals will NOT allow conservatives to express their views. And if they do? They're very likely to be attacked. It's so amusing how little self-awareness the PP and others just like him/her are.
You are welcome to express your views. Students should not be forced to have their student fees go to support hate speech. If you want to express views that show hate and intolerance, you are welcome to, but the public writ large will hold you to account for your views. I mean, the GOP is banning books, literally: https://popular.info/p/revealed-these-ten-books-are-considered because they believe they are pornography. That is using the government to bend to your moral values. DiSantis is trying to do the same thing with Disney. You don't see dems using their goverment power to curb speech the way the GOP is. Stop projecting and gaslighting.
The DOJ, FBI and IRS say hello
