She wanted him to be more devout and pray 3 x per day. He wanted to party with his bros. What I suspect was her issue and is the issue of a lot of these folks is they are not entirely straight, they may be bi or even gay but living in a universe where that is not acceptable and they are forced to conform (and don't know what else to do).
