Again I do not like Chris Pratt very much but the weird hate for him here is so peculiar. There is no evidence that he has a distant relationship with his son.
He’s very controversial. The purported hate you’re referring to doesn’t just exist here. It’s everywhere. I don’t know if it’s genuine hate as much as people just chiming in on the controversies that are around him. He’s obviously conservative. He is probably religious, his actions are interpreted as inconsiderate when it comes to his ex, etc. (Let’s be honest it just looks like he might be from what the media shows us and people don’t like that.) At the same time people recognize that he’s hot, a funny, a good comedic actor, an action hero mega star, extremely handsome, and he has a great body.
It is weirdly potent here. And it seems pretty genuine and personal the way many of the posts here are written! He is definitely religious (he has an instagram picture of a cross saying share if you believe!) but, as the person who went and looked at his instagram based on this thread, there is basically nothing that is ACTUALLY disrespectful of Anna Farris on there. And there is plenty of evidence he is an involved father with all the kids who just doesn't post about ANY of them much (including a clearly intentional effort to not post any of their faces). I'm a very very very liberal atheist, and I don't think Chris Pratt and I would be friends if we met in real life. But honestly the weirdness here is like, he does not seem like a bad guy! Just a guy who we thought was funny an enlightened when he was Andy Dwyer on Parks and Rec and when he turned out to be more 'murica and guns and Jesus a lot of his fan base felt a little duped. But that's not his fault! I don't think he's ever purported to be something he wasn't. People need to chill.
