Do you ever go and stay with her? And do you help her clean her place while you're there? I think if you do that it's reasonable to ask for reciprocation. But, if she does all the traveling to you, and cleans up after herself, then you look like a douche asking her to clean up your place.
No she comes and stays with me. The reason why I brought it up is because I came home from the gym and there was hair on the bathroom floor. I told her I wasn’t trying to fight but it was making me question how it would be if we lived together.
The horror! Hair on the bathroom floor! You know she's a female, right. That happens. Deal with it. She should dump you.
Meh. I'm a woman and I clean my hair out of the shower every time I use it because why would my husband want to see that? I also would pick up hair on the bathroom floor that I saw because that's just gross.
Thing is if it’s a single strand you probably wouldn’t have even seen it. That’s the issue here. The gf didn’t leave some giant mess. It was a stray hair on the floor.
That's actually not what OP said, but ok. Change the facts to fit your narrative.
NP, the issue is he is getting so worked up over hair. Nothing else, and apparently he likes to spit in the kitchen sink and his tub is disgusting so it’s not like he’s perfect. There’s going to be some things your partner does or doesn’t do to your standards as far as cleaning. OP didn’t say she was dirty, he’s only complaining about hair. If he can’t handle that then he needs to live alone.
