Pick the house you like best if the commutes are the same. The two sets of schools are both excellent. They are rivals, which is why they pick on each other so much.
We wanted to buy a house on the McLean High side. This was when I had a toddler and elementary kids and not thinking about high school much. I just wanted my kids to not go to school with all rich kids. We ended up liking the houses better zoned for Langley. We now live very close to Cooper/Langley and it has been great. Cooper ends early before rush hour begins. I have not yet experienced Langley high school traffic yet. I’m sure it will not be pleasant. OP, just pick the house and commute you like best. Demographics similar at both schools.
If you live close to Cooper, then Langley traffic will not be a big deal. The nightmare traffic is mainly the traffic heading to the beltway. Langley dismissal is at 3:00.
2:50.
