I think she's had quite a personality all along. She says almost nothing but conveys so much with her face-- lots of opinions that she is trying not to show. I find her pretty entertaining.[/quote]

Why was she so rude to Nate at the beginning when he was trying to reserve the window seat for his parents (before he became a jerk)?  She struck me as quite a B.[/quote]

I think we're supposed to see that anyone has - or many people have - the potential to be a mini-tyrant over their own tiny kingdom. It's a neat parallel to Nate. Also shows they have compatible personalities, I think.[/quote]
