Have a relative (from a totally different area) moving outside of Frederick. To me it is very dense cookie cutter communities plopped down in the middle of farmland. No appeal.
Better than paying taxes for crime and declining schools.
MoCo schools are swirling down the toilet.
What school district is not swirling down the toilet? Our competitor is not Frederick County Public Schools or Howard County Public Schools, it's Fairfax County Public Schools. They are having the same problems MCPS is having. They are losing families to Loudoun County Public Schools. People are just going to move to a smaller, farther (demographics get more homogeneous the farther out you go, though there is a point of diminishing returns where if you go too far out SES and QOL starts decreasing) jurisdiction. Then that school system is going to run into similar problems eventually, rinse and repeat.
