You don't have to go to Arlington, Missing Middle is coming to McLean. The NoVA YIMBYs have been organizing in Fairfax County, and the large lots in McLean are well within their sights.  The same chaotic mess that happened in Arlington is headed for Fairfax County and Alexandria City.  [/quote]

The good news is that the approvals will be limited for the first 5 years, which gives the public plenty of time to see what some initial outcomes look like.  That’s also enough time that another election will have come around.  The people that were sleepwalking through the process (like so many in MoCo were when they pushed through Thrive 2050) will finally have woken up.  Also an opportunity to introduce some defining Propositions on the ballots to restrict this kind of thing.[/quote]
