Conrad was in a tough place because it's hard to seem like a good actor when your character is so brooding. Maybe he's naturally a little wooden and stoic, or maybe he was just acting, who knows? Just like Laurel didn't seem like a great actor, but maybe it was because her character was also carrying something heavy plus naturally being uptight. Belly seemed about right for a girl that age, and I'm glad she realized at the end how self absorbed she had been, but I agree with pp's that they should have filled out her character more to make it clearer why so many people were falling for her. More flashbacks, maybe. More Latin. I found Taylor the best friend annoying. Cam Cameron was the coolest one![/quote]
