So I think a couple of things.

The world sucks.  Everyone is trying to take what you have or want.  If you are not focused and push you fall behind.  All of this is true.  People want better for their kids and this is the reality.  The better prepared your kids are possibly the better the outcome.

Second, on this board there are a lot of parents who have climbed the mountain and the know it is not fair, honest, nice.  They want to pass on what they think will fight this and the above and they have a point of view on how to do that.

None of what parents do is crazy unless the kid can’t do it.  You have to know how far to push.  But push you must.  [/quote]
