What an absurd and ridiculous comment. Poland is an incredibly rich country and the hidden gem of Europe. Serbia and Slovakia are also well deserving of a visit. Living in Europe, I pass reminders of the Holocaust on a daily basis. Huge Jewish cemeteries in towns where there are no longer any Jewish residents. In one Jewish cemetery I visited this week, there was an urn containing soap made from human fat at a German death camp. As someone with family murdered by the Germans, I never forget. So why don’t you tell me more about this wonderful German “culture and history.”[/quote]

Aren’t Serbs and Slovaks, etc more than 90s conflicts ( which had nothing to do with Poland and Slovakia).

You must be confusing me with another poster?
I merely meant that there isn’t much worthy of seeing in countries listed other than Germany. I am not an advocate of not going to a country because there was something unseemly in their history. It’s the past and while we should remember it we should also remember the good things [/quote]

You must not be very curious or well traveled. Each of the countries OP inquired about is incredibly rich in history, culture, and sites of interest. If you can’t see beyond the overtouristed attractions of Germany, then it’s your loss. [/quote]
