There’s minimal consequences for bullying in general. Antisemitism in MCPS is just another form of bullying. Principals have ignored complaints for years even when the official paperwork is filed. Principals are groomed by MCPS to do an “investigation” then state no evidence of bullying was found.[/quote]

At our high school, everyone seems to be an equal target - black, brown, Jewish, female, LGTBQ, etc. At some point, every student either is a target, bystander, or the perpetrator. Bullying is not ok but MCPS hasn’t addressed the problem because of its knee jerk reaction to ignore problems when they are reported. This gives students the green light to bully. What’s the consequence at school? Nothing.

MCPS needs to do more than letters and speeches. It takes action to solve the problem.[/quote]
