Info from another board:  I heard that the Madlax and Next Level 2026 teams are merging into one.

Look at the recruiting at the 2023 and 2024 classes.  NL and Madlax are the top choices and it is not close.  VLC did OK and DCE OK as well.  Hammers and TC irrelevant.  HOCO scores do not matter for 2026 parents.  your competition now is NY, CA, ATL teams and the key is attending the events where you would play these teams.  Club ball is no longer about bragging rights in the DMV the score is not remembered.  High school is what counts for wins and losses.  Club is all about recruiting.  It may seem like these teams are in flux but as players get older the good clubs will get the better players in the next year and when it settles out NL and ML will lead the recruiting game. Doubt it, but go ahead. HS now streaming games and with the summer event is now the most important place to play and get seen. College coaches use the club circuit, not to identify talent, but get 2nd/3rd etc looks at kids.

oh...and you lost me at "NY, CA, ATL"...try NY, PA, NJ, MD, MA, CT...that's 80% of the talent pool (CA, TX, FLA is the other 20%)...it's called I95 corridor recruiting...if you know, you know.[/quote]
