My guess is very few centrists voted for him. The press coverage is fine, because there will be no surprises about what he truly is when the primaries roll around.

He is Trump without the cult of personality and likely won't even win the Republican primary if DJT is even still remotely mobile and cogent. And even if the Trump wave among primary voters has permanently ebbed, Desantis is DOA when people are reminded of his anti-woke initiatives that just look shoddy and hateful.[/quote]
